Preserving the Harvest

A couple of years ago I decided that while growing vegetables was great, I needed to learn how to preserve the food we were growing. We give a lot away to friends and family but there’s also a lot that ends back in the compost because we haven’t been able to use it quickly enough. So I started to teach myself about drying, freezing and canning.
